Trip to the Philadelphia Zoo

Last weekend, Mommy and Daddy took a trip to the oldest zoo in America, The Philadelphia Zoo, which happens to be right in our backyard. Unfortunately, we did not get to go and they took the blurpy thing instead which seemed completely unfair to us but oh well. Mommy said something about a "no cats allowed" policy but we think that's ridiculous - it's a zoo for cring out loud!!! There are cats all over the place. Oh well... Maybe next time we will dress up in some of our sister's clothes and sneak in, too!

Anyway, they took some photos and showed them to us (gee, thanks). We thought we'd share them with you all - enjoy! Happy weekend to all our friends!

Recovering from our 2 year Birthday Party

Thanks to everyone who was able to join us on Saturday for our big 2 year birthday party! We were soooo happy that so many of you could join us, even on such short notice (thanks to our distracted mommy). We loved it when you all sang to us while we blew out the candles on our stinky goodness cakes. (For those who didn't make it over, notice we even wore our best ties for the party!) We had so much fun playing tent wars with you all and our brand new tent with the crinkle pad inside and the connectors to the other tent cubes. Sorry we didn't post sooner but our heads have been a little hurtin' from all the delicious niptinis that were flowing around. Again, many thanks for all your birthday cheer and well-wishes!!

It's Our Birthday Party and You're All Invited

We know it's late notice but today is our 2 year birthday party (our birthday was on Wed. but mommy said we had to wait till the weekend for our party). We're big 2 year old mancats today and we hope you might drop by to celebrate!! We're going to have niptinis, tuna pate, and all the tent wars you can possible imagine. Mr. Chen is gearing up for the fun here already by running around like a maniac with his feather wand asking "is it time for the party yet?" Hope you all can make it!!

Mancat Monday

Happy Mancat Monday everykitty! It's very rainy here in Lansdowne. But, we are happy because our Dee Ree is on vacation all week so she can come over and play laser and string with us (oh yeah, and help mommy with our blurpy sister, too, if she has time after we're done all our playing).

Trying to entertain ourselves

Well, as Mommy and Daddy have less time to play with us these days, we are learning new ways to entertain ourselves. We find ourselves wrassling more and playing thundering herd of elephants more - we especially like to do this when our blurpy girl is screaming in the middle of the night. Sometimes we will jump in mommy or daddy's lap when they are reading to our sister or rocking her. If we have to share laptime, I guess we can do that for a while.

Am I Still the Baby?

Normally, we like to post our Mancat Monday photos on Monday but yesterday Ollie proved to everyone that he is still the baby, too! Here he is with cousin DorisAnne (while Aunt Denise holds Sophia). As most of you know, Mr. Chen hates to be held so he proves he is still the baby by crying for mommy and daddy to play string with him.

We are sorry we still haven't had much (if any) time to visit you all. It is very busy here and mommy still isn't letting us get on the computer very often. We are thinking about you all and missing you and can't wait to visit and find out what's new. We are hoping that we can get on the computer more this week because Grandma and Grandpa are coming up from South Carolina to stay for the whole week so there will be extra arms to hold the blurpy so we can get mommy to help us blog!

Mr. Chen's String Thang

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

Many of you know that Mr. Chen has a bit of a thing for string. If you were to walk in our house right now you'd see string everywhere. This is a relatively new development of his (he started his string fetish about two or three months ago) and from the moment he wakes up in the morning till he goes to bed, he has one thing on his mind - STRING! He cries and cries and runs around until Mommy or Daddy pick up some string and play with him.

Here are some recent action shots of Mr. Chen playing with string. Isn't he quite the vicious string chaser?? If you biggify, you can see his claws and teeth real close. Also note the crazed look in his eye - he will not rest until the string is caught!

Sunny, Sleepy Saturday

Well, things are returning to some semblance of normalcy here. We are enjoying a sunny, sleepy Saturday here. Our blurpy sister is doing good. She is sleeping a lot too. We like that in a sister. Sometimes she cries real loud. Well, she does this alot actually... But when she's not crying, she's usually sleeping. We think we'll all get along just fine...
