Many of you know that Mr. Chen has a bit of a thing for string. If you were to walk in our house right now you'd see string everywhere. This is a relatively new development of his (he started his string fetish about two or three months ago) and from the moment he wakes up in the morning till he goes to bed, he has one thing on his mind - STRING! He cries and cries and runs around until Mommy or Daddy pick up some string and play with him.
Here are some recent action shots of Mr. Chen playing with string. Isn't he quite the vicious string chaser?? If you biggify, you can see his claws and teeth real close. Also note the crazed look in his eye - he will not rest until the string is caught!

I think Mr. Chen is practicing his roping skills for a rodeo!
Playing with string is fine, as long as it's supervised. One of the "cats that came before" had surgery from unsupervised string playing!
Toys are 'so yesterday' for me, but Pierro is nutso about string, feathers and fuzzy balls!

I also had surgery for string ingestion on mommies birthday... oh about 15 years ago.

You and Mrs. OZ! She does the same thing to the maid with the whirly bird -cries and cries and cries until the maid plays the whirly bird with her! Fortunately only after getting up in the morning, when the maid comes home in the afternoon and before bed, hahahahahahahahahaha!

Chen is fearsome! The look of concentration in his eyes is something to behold!
